It contains permanent archival ink. The refill was developed for the Blackliner Brush marker with a brush tip. A perfectly compatible marker for calligraphy and lettering .

The opaque ink is water-based and resistant to water and chemicals. Furthermore, once dry, in approximately one minute, the ink becomes permanent on paper, allowing you to apply additional layers with either water or alcohol. The ink will not smudge. You can also apply varnish over this ink once it is dry.
