A legendary machine with a new look: innovations at Fredator
Proton, a long-time market leader, has earned a cult following. Working with FRED, we decided to revamp its design. We redesigned the grip and shortened the machine by 10 mm, resulting in better weight distribution and improved handling during operation. The Fredator's RCA connector is now housed in a protective casing. The Equaliser logo is milled into the aluminum housing, and all the changes are highlighted by a new light ring that illuminates when the machine is switched on.
The anti-tip system, or special protrusions on the machine's housing, protects against accidental falls. Now the machine won't roll on the table and will always stay in place.
Positive changes have also been made to the machine's interior. The gearbox has been redesigned, reducing vibrations during operation, and new software has significantly improved motor smoothness. As a result, tattooing with the Fredator is much more enjoyable and less tiring.
