- FK Irons Flux Max 1x PowerBolt II Stroke 4.0mm - Gold and Matte Black. The Flux Max is a cordless tattoo machine that represents the culmination of everything FK Irons has created over the years. The FK Irons Flux is powered by an upgraded PowerBolt II, offering tattoo artists a refined user experience. It features a new internal motherboard with the latest technological advancements, as well as additional layers of electronic safety protection. The PowerBolt II has an OLED digital display designed for a more intuitive and user-friendly experience. It offers up to 6 hours of battery life and has a USB-C connection for easy charging. We recommend using the chargers included in the box, or other high-quality devices, to avoid charging issues with products that don't supply sufficient power.
Through the PowerBolt II's updated screen and touchpad, tattoo artists can view and access the menu to navigate and adjust various battery settings without needing the Darklab app. Menu options include:
- Main power display: in hertz (Hz) or volts (V)
- Secondary power display: with the previously selected alternative power unit
- Voltage setting: Displays voltage in increments of 0.1 or 0.5 V
- Foot switch: Activate Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity to connect wirelessly to the Darklab Killswitch pedal
- eGive: from level 0 (eGive off) to levels 1, 2, and 3 (hard, medium, and soft hit). After adjustment, the unit will detect the tension of the cartridges being used and run an algorithm to ensure that eGive is consistent with the chosen level.
- Timer: Tracks the duration of your session (ideal for artists who charge by the hour)
- Screen orientation: Select left-handed or right-handed operation
- Shipping: "Turn off" the machine to ensure it does not accidentally turn on while traveling, especially by plane.
The PowerBolt II offers a wider voltage range than its predecessors, from 4 to 12V. The ability to use a new minimum of 4V is perfect for styles like stippling.
Flux Max offers full compatibility with existing FK Irons wireless accessories and devices right out of the box, including the Darklab Killswitch and mobile app. You can replace your PowerBolt II with the original PowerBolt or PowerBolt+ if desired.
Made from 6061 T6 aluminum, the FK Irons Flux Max features a more tapered design than previous Flux models, along with a revised center ring design. The tapered shape is similar to the Xion Gorilla grip, but less aggressive. Diamond facets adorn the top of the grip for a touch of style, while the redesigned handle has tactile markings for improved comfort and ergonomics.
Tattoo artists will be able to use FK Irons' future disposable grips with Flux Max, as well as the original Flux and EXO grips.
Compatible with universal Cheyenne-type cartridges. Its consistent and reliable needle penetration and motor systems ensure optimal cartridge functionality. Additionally, the machine features a front weighting system, allowing artists to glide effortlessly during tattoo sessions with less fatigue.
